Service development

Information, advice, support

Our Service Development Group is a working group of our expert membership, with representatives working in all areas of teenage and young adult cancer care. The group aims to provide information, advice and support to healthcare professionals who work with or who are developing services for young people with cancer by:

  • Providing accessible information online;
  • Developing best practice guidance;
  • Establishing a forum for sharing local practice;
  • Offering advice to professionals and other organisations about service development.

Our service development group has active members from a range of nursing, medical and social care backgrounds and members often lead on discrete projects.

The group welcomes others to share best practice. If you are working in teenage and young adult cancer care and feel you have an area of best practice you would like to share or you have developed guidelines and policy, please contact us via
