Talking about loss and grief: understanding bereavement for parents and carers (webinar for healthcare professionals)

This webinar aims to help professionals working in TYA oncology understand bereavement for parents and carers. Ann Chalmers, Chief Executive of Child Bereavement UK, will talk about the impact on parents/carers when a child dies and explain the work of the charity. Mandy Giddins, a bereaved parent and founder of Giddo's Gift will talk about her experience of losing Jordan. Rachel Driver, Team Leader at Young Lives vs Cancer will highlight the support provided to bereaved parents and carers from the charity.

This online event is free for TYAC and CCLG members. There is a small charge of £10 for non-members. If you are likely to join four or more of our events (including TYAC workshops, CCLG Late Effects Webinars or CCLG Nursing (and AHP) Education Series events) you might find it better value to join CCLG or TYAC if you are eligible. TYAC membership starts at £30/year and CCLG membership starts at £40/year (free first year if paying by Direct Debit for eligible categories).
