Online meeting (Microsoft Teams)
It is apparent that there are a lot of disparities in care for patients aged 16 to 18 with a cancer diagnosis. There is a need for us to come together as professionals to discuss these disparities and ensure that we as health professionals are providing equitable provision for these patients.
The new 16 to 18 Special Interest Group (SIG) will provide a forum for discussion of all aspects and issues relating to patients aged 16 to 18 with a cancer diagnosis. It will promote a collaborative approach and may include working with other special interest groups. The 16-18 SIG is having a kick-off meeting chaired by Liz Purnell (TYAC Chair) on Wednesday 9 October at 11am. This is an online meeting (via MS Teams).
This group will cross both CCLG and TYAC memberships so is therefore open to all CCLG and TYAC members and is free to attend, but registration is required.
