We would like to say a big thank you to all those involved in making the TYAC BRIGHTLIGHT Conference last week a success including our professional education group and partners, BRIGHTLIGHT.

There were posters and presentations from TYAC members and a wide variety of other TYA experts from universities and research bodies from across the UK, including insightful pieces on the effects of adult settings, survivorship and loss, emerging strategy, digital communication and more. The studies were a true display of the excellent research into the care of this age group that is taking place in the UK.

We look forward to sharing these abstracts on our website very soon.

TYAC's annual Lisa Thaxter Prize was also presented at the conference. A huge congratulations to our winners; Hannah Pring for best oral presentation and Jamie Cargill for best poster. We the hope the brilliant variety of research presented last week has inspired others to consider presenting next year.

Thank you to our partners, the BRIGHTLIGHT team, which presented some of the groundbreaking findings over the two day period, which are set to influence the delivery of care for young people with cancer for years to come.
