Proud to be a TYAC member In recognition of teenage and young adult cancer care and support as a distinct specialism, all TYAC members will be able to use the post-nominal letters 'MTYAC'. We encourage all our members to use this designation to show their pride in being a member of TYAC and their support of TYA cancer care as a specialist field. Tax relief TYAC is recognized by the HMRC via its register of Approved Professional Organizations and Learned Societies. So, if you pay your own subscription, you should be able to claim back 20% to 40% of the cost through tax relief. Just check out the relevant information on the HMRC website once you’ve joined. Who can be a TYAC member? Full members are professionals, of any discipline, working in the area of teenagers and young adults with cancer whose role is predominantly based in the UK or the Republic of Ireland. International membership is open to professionals, of any discipline, whose work with teenagers and young adults with cancer is outside the UK or Republic of Ireland. International members will not have voting rights at general meetings.
