When you join TYAC, you become part of a community of fellow professionals working to improve the quality of life and likelihood of survival for young people with cancer.

Our members are active in 122 establishments in the UK alone.

Who can be a TYAC member?

Full members are professionals, of any discipline, working in the area of teenagers and young adults with cancer whose role is predominantly based in the UK or the Republic of Ireland.

International membership is open to professionals, of any discipline, whose work with teenagers and young adults with cancer is outside the UK or Republic of Ireland. International members do not have voting rights.

Tax relief

TYAC is recognized by the HMRC via its register of Approved Professional Organizations and Learned Societies. So, if you pay your own subscription, you should be able to claim back 20% to 40% of the cost through tax relief. Just check out the relevant information on the HMRC website once you’ve joined.
