The Open University’s Sexuality Alliance is a partnership including Together for Short Lives, the UK charity for children and young adults with life-limiting, life threatening conditions (LLTCs), other nationally renowned charities, service users, lawyers, academics and public sector organisations in the UK.

The Open University produced a film in early 2015 in collaboration with Together for Short Lives and Rainbows Children’s and Young People’s Hospice to explore why sexuality standards and guidance for staff, young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families are now required.

This has ultimately led to the production of Talking about sex, sexuality and relationships: Guidance and standards.
