The Six D’s of TYA Cancer Services:
Desires, Disappointments and Differences in
Developing, Designing and Designating

 

The provisional programme is now available:

 

Programme includes:

  • Sessions around the designation process - the design, the development and working with the Principal Treatment Centre
  • Interactive sessions led by young people
  • Panels of professionals and young people discussing the gaps in services and how they
    have been overcome
  • Celebrating success in joint MDT working 
     

Cost:

  • TYAC member £55
  • Non-member £65
  • Attendance and 12 months membership to TYAC £75


Call for abstracts
TYAC invites professionals working in the field of teenagers and young adults with cancer to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts covering all aspects of TYA cancer care will be considered. However, we particularly welcome oral abstracts on the theme of the meeting: the Six D’s of TYA Cancer Services.

Abstract deadline: 5pm on 30 September 2013
Annual Lisa Thaxter Trust Prize of £150 to be awarded to the best oral presentation.
